WHAT WE DO

The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a collaborative organization that bridges the gap between parents, teachers, and students to enhance the educational experience for ALL students. Our primary goal is to foster a strong school community through volunteerism, fundraising, and student activities.

The Heim Middle PTSA organizes and hosts student events, provides funding for field trips, provides resources for teachers and students, and advocates for policies that benefit the school. By encouraging active involvement, the PTSA creates opportunities for families and educators to work together, promoting a positive school environment.

The Heim Middle PTSA is a 100% volunteer-run organization!

We are managed by a Board, comprised of parents who are elected by other PTSA members and are willing to volunteer their time to lead the school’s PTSA .

We are also members of the New York State PTA and adhere to their operating standards, working in partnership with the school to make Heim Middle a great place to be.
